Pizza with Meat Crust – A High-Protein, Low-Carb Delight

Ditch the traditional dough and try this protein-packed meat crust pizza! Perfect for low-carb, keto-friendly, and high-protein diets, this recipe delivers all the deliciousness of pizza with a hearty, flavorful base made entirely of seasoned ground beef.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

For the Toppings (optional):

  • Tomato sauce or sugar-free pizza sauce
  • Shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, etc.)
  • Vegetables (bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, olives, etc.)

Procedure

  1. Preheat the Oven & Prepare the Baking Sheet:
    • Set your oven to 180°C (356°F).
    • Line a baking tray or sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Meat Crust:
    • In a large bowl, mix the minced beef with chili, red pepper, salt, and minced garlic until well combined.
    • Spread the meat mixture evenly onto the prepared baking tray, forming a thin, compact crust.
  3. Bake the Meat Crust:
    • Place in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes until the meat is fully cooked and slightly browned.
    • Carefully drain any excess fat from the tray.
  4. Add the Toppings & Bake Again:
    • Remove from the oven and spread tomato sauce evenly over the meat crust.
    • Add your favorite toppings, finishing with cheese and herbs.
    • Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Slice & Serve:
    • Let the pizza rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.

Final Tip
